
Brian Carnell joined Cisco Systems Digital Media business unit in 2006 where he worked with an internal team to help develop their digital signage practice. Brian currently works with the World Wide Channels organization within Cisco as a Business Manager. In his current capacity he develops partner relationships and programs for the Cisco partner community. He spends much of his time on various development boards where he can help the Digital Signage industry progress by sharing his experiences.
Brian graduated from Kennedy Western University in Denver CO with a Major in Management Information Systems and a Minor in Business Administration. He has been in the IT industry for more than 19 years and in the Digital Signage industry for more than nine years. He originally started with Digital Signage at the United States Postal Service where he created one of the first large scale digital signage networks and wrote many of the white papers and industry studies that helped evolve the industry into what it is today. The USPS installation is well known throughout the industry because of its size and scale. Brian continues to work on many large scale deployments and is widely respected throughout the industry as a thought leader and innovator.
